Town of Templeton Veteran's Services The Veterans Services Department will be run by appointments only. They assist veterans find assistance through VA, state and non-profits.

Safety precautions will be in place to include wearing of masks, disinfecting surfaces and time between appointments. Templeton has a part-time Director of Veteran's Service (DVS) in accordance with MGL Chapter 115 Sections 3 & 10. Conduct outreach programs such as coffee socials and montly luncheons, and manage the Ch115 benefits.

The American Legion Post 373 will be holding a Veteran's Day Ceremony on Friday, November 11, 2022 @ 11 AM at the Baldwinville Common. This will be a commemoration of Veterans Day, with a special guest speaker, recognizing our Veterans and Active Military personnel for their service and sacrifices for our country. All are welcome hope to see you there.

Please share! The Town of Templeton is looking for a Director of Veterans’ Services: This is a part-time position working 19.5 hrs/wk Monday – Thursday. Manages the administration of benefits available to eligible veterans and their dependents through the MA Department of Veterans’ Services, the U.S. Veterans Administration and others including employment; pensions; disability compensation; medical and hospitalization; long-term care; outpatient treatment; vocational rehabilitation; education and the like.

Qualifications and experience: Successful applicants must possess a High School Diploma or GED, be a veteran of the Armed Forces of the United States as defined in M.G.L. Ch. 115, and certification as a Veterans' Benefits and Services Officer is preferred.

Pay Range: $21.50 - $24.50 per hour depending on experience and certification.
The position will be open until filled. First reviews will begin September 13, 2022. The Town of Templeton is an EOE.

Our friends at Indian Ranch invite all Veterans for a Free Cookout and Cruise Around Webster Lake on Flag Day, Tuesday, June 14th, 2022

Samuel Slater’s Restaurant and Indian Princess are looking to salute local Veterans with their annual Flag Day cruise around Webster Lake. The free event includes a cookout at 11:30 AM then a voyage at 1:00 PM.
