Our deepest sympathies go out to Officer Vozella and the Newberry Twp Police Dept, York County, on the tragic passing of K9 Zar.

K9 Zar passed unexpectedly last evening from a tragic accident while playing ball with his handler.

K9 Zar was a 5.5 year old Belgian Malinois/Shepherd mix who was a dual purpose patrol/narcotics K9. K9 Zar served the residents of Newberry Twp and the rest of York County with dignity and pride.
