Carolina Siteworks will be installing water valves at the intersections of Cedar Avenue and Gardner Street and Cedar Avenue and Cauble Street on Thursday, June 18. We do not have a timeframe of when this work will begin.

Residents in the immediate area may experience temporary water service interruptions while the work is being completed. Motorists traveling through the area should use caution and be prepared for possible traffic delays.

Thank you for your patience as we continue making improvements to East Spencer’s water infrastructure.

East Spencer Residents: We have been advised that water service will be temporarily interrupted on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, to allow Carolina Siteworks crews to replace water valves at the intersections of Cedar Street and W. Broad Street and S. Long Street and E. Broad Street.

The work is expected to take place during the morning hours. Customers in the area may experience temporary service disruptions or changes in water pressure while the work is being completed.

East Spencer Residents: Water Valve Work Rescheduled to Wednesday.

Due to rain this morning, the planned water service interruption at the intersection of N. Long Street and Hall Street has been rescheduled to tomorrow, Wednesday, June 10, from 9:30 a.m. until approximately noon.

Water service will be temporarily shut off to allow necessary utility work to be completed by Carolina Siteworks. We appreciate your patience and understanding as crews work to complete these repairs as quickly and safely as possible.

This service will provide important updates including weather alerts, road closures, power outage information, and town updates. To sign up, text “EASTSPENCER” to 91896 and reply YES to confirm participation.
