Through her vision, dedication, and unwavering commitment to preserving jazz history, Lauren transformed Miles Davis’ childhood home from a vacant structure slated for demolition into the thriving House of Miles—a cultural landmark, museum, and community center inspiring future generations.

Her work has not only honored the legacy of Miles Davis but has also created opportunities for East St. Louis youth through music, arts, education, leadership, and wellness programs.
