Father’s Day is an opportunity to celebrate the men who provide guidance, support, and encouragement through every stage of life. Today, we recognize the fathers in our communities and the many ways they make a difference, both at home and in the lives of those around them.

To the fathers in public safety: your influence doesn’t clock out at the end of a shift. The discipline and accountability that define your career in public safety are the same qualities your children see every day. That kind of example goes further than anything you could say out loud.

Fatherhood in public safety comes with its own weight—the missed dinners, early mornings, and moments when duty calls without hesitation. Those sacrifices are seen, even when they go unspoken.

We hope you take a moment today to recognize that what you build at home and what you build in service to your community both matter.

Happy Father’s Day!

Honoring the Brave This Memorial Day 🇺🇸

Today, we pause to remember and honor the courageous men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice is the reason we enjoy the freedoms we have today.

From all of us at the Missouri & Illinois Railroad Police Association, thank you to our fallen heroes—you are never forgotten. 🙏

Armed Forces Day is the day to honor both the men and women currently serving, as well as those who have previously served and sacrificed to defend our freedom.

Armed Forces Day was created on August 31, 1949, by then-Secretary of Defense, Louis Johnson, to replace separate Army, Navy and Air Force Days. The event stemmed from the Armed Forces’ unification under one Department of Defense by then-President Harry S. Truman when he signed the National Security Act into law on July 26, 1947.

We will never be able to say thank you enough for your sacrifices to protect our Freedom.
