Our VFW Auxiliary to Robert F Garrison Post #3350 has voted to disband after 8 years. We are saddened, but all good things eventually come to an end. It has been an honor and a privilege to serve our Veterans and our community. We thank them for their sacrifice, service and their bravery. God bless them, and our country that they so courageously defended. Thanks to Commander, Ed Cook and Quartermaster, Pat Luliucci for all of your support over the years. We wish you well as you continue to support our community.

Our VFW Auxiliary Chaplan, Joyce Sellitti, wife of our Trustee, Ralph Sellitti was recently injured when an SUV struck her on Atlantic Avenue outside St Raymond’s Church. She is still undergoing Physical therapy at The Lynbrook Restorative Therapy and Rehabilitation facility.
We send our warmest wishes and prayers for her complete recovery.

Our VFW Auxiliary is saddened by the recent passing of our Auxiliary member, Jordan Hickam's father,
Elvie Hickam.
Visitation is at Donza's Funeral Home on
Tuesday, & Wednesday June 10th & 11th 2025
2pm - 4pm & 7pm - 9pm
Fire dept services are @ 8pm on Wednesday
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 12th, at Donza's
The Cremation is Private.
In lieu of flowers, a donation in Elvie's name may be made to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation www.t2t.org.

Happy 125th birthday to the Veterans of Foreign Wars - VFW!

On this VFW Day we recognize the one and a quarter century of tireless volunteerism and hard work of these veterans, many of whom are those Auxiliary members joined under and view as their inspiration and “reason why,” in addition to being family. We also remember those VFW members who are no longer with us, for their sacrifices, dedication and good deeds have far outlived them.
