September 5, 2026

Day Shift September 5: A Squad

26-008582 – 1400 BLK North Smith Street - Domestic Disorder
The caller requested to speak with police off site after an altercation with her boyfriend. She advised he got upset with the dogs growling at him and he threatened to shoot her and the dogs. The man denied the accusation and advised he would leave the residence after collecting some of his belongings. The caller was advised to seek Temporary Orders and start the eviction process with the county if she desired. Both parties agreed to separate for the evening and would contact police if deemed necessary.

26-008579- 900 BLK South Seminole Drive- Apartment Fire
Police responded to the above address to assist ERFD with a kitchen fire. The fire was successfully extinguished without injury.

26-008568 - 1400 BLK Mack Smith Road - Traffic Stop / AOA
Police initiated a traffic stop at the Dunkin Donuts on a southbound Chevy Malibu bearing a blank temporary Georgia tag. The vehicle continued south into Georgia finally pulling over at the Green Acres Community entrance. The driver was found to have an active un-extraditable warrant out of Catoosa County but, since he was kind enough to roll the stop across the state line, the warrant became enforceable. Catoosa County was notified, and the man was taken into custody by a Deputy.

26-008574 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Road - Theft
A male party advised he was a Facebook seller meeting a buyer at a gas station to sell an iPhone 17 Max. The seller said that two females walked into the store to greet him and encouraged him to step outside to complete the transaction. The seller advised there were also two males waiting outside that arrived with the females. The seller said there was a brief discussion about a previous transaction, he handed the phone over and one of them said "you ain't getting sh** back" prior to the group fleeing the area. The seller advised they might be driving a blue Nissan sedan.

26-008578 – 500 BLK Layfield Road - Suspicious Activity-
Police responded to the area on a report that two individuals were soliciting door to door. An officer contacted one of the individuals who advised he worked for Leaf Guard and was not aware he needed a permit to conduct door-to-door sales. He said he would cease activity and notify his employer to apply for the proper permits before spawning back in to solicit.

26-008564- 4200 BLK Ringgold Road- Citizen Assist
A party locked his phone, wallet, and keys inside of his vehicle. Police contacted a locksmith and stood by with the party until the vehicle was unlocked.
26-008569 - 5330 Dupont Street - Disorder/Trespass
The caller reported a relative threatened to assault him after a dispute over mechanical work. Charged were declined but the resident requested a trespass warning be issued. Reference Trespass #26-000204.


Night Shift September 5: C Squad

26-008586 – 3900 BLK Ringgold Road - Civil Matter
Patrol responded regarding a customer who believed she was not given the correct amount of change. Police spoke with both parties, who agreed on the correct amount owed.

26-008591 – 3800 BLK Bennett Road - Noise Complaint
Police responded to the above address for a possible rave party. Upon arrival, officers spoke with the homeowner, who stated it was her daughter’s birthday party. The homeowner agreed to lower the music.

26-008587 – 5300 BLK Lazard Street - AOA/Arrest/Pursuit
ERPD Units were notified of an incoming THP pursuit, with THP requesting assistance. ERPD Units were allowed to assist what they believed was a solo Trooper when the pursuit went South down McBrien Road, and Eastbound onto Lazard Street, where the driver abruptly stopped his vehicle and surrendered. The man was taken into custody by THP without further incident.

26-008584 – 400 BLK Cedar Glen Circle - Wellbeing Check
Police were dispatched after a concerned mother called to report the aggressor (her ex-father-in-law) in a TPO had been going around her kids (protected parties) because his vehicle was parked outside her ex-husband’s home. The vehicle was indeed there; however, the vehicle was being driven by the concerned mother's ex-mother-in-law, who is not listed in the TPO. The "aggressor" was found to be at his home at another location.

26-008590 – 900 BLK Spring Creek Road - Suspicious Vehicle/AOA
A woman was taken into custody by Catoosa County following a traffic stop on a suspicious vehicle. The vehicle left this location and was located South Bound on Mack Smith Road where a traffic stop crossed the state line.

Day Shift September 4: A Squad

26-008527 – 900 BLK Spring Creek Road - Well Being Check
The sister of an East Ridge resident requested police check on her younger brother who hadn't spoken to the family in over a month. The sister advised she lives in Memphis but was uncertain about his apartment number. The apartment leasing agent was familiar with the tenant and advised his apartment number. Door knocks at the apartment went unanswered.

26-008538 – 900 BLK Spring Creek Road - Warrant Service / Resisting
A man was released from the hospital against medical advice. Jordan has active warrants and absconded prior to the off-duty officer being notified of his status. Once the officer made contact, the suspect fled and continued after an ineffective TASER deployment. A second officer contacted the man who continued to disobey lawful orders and attempted to flee. He was taken into custody and transported back to the hospital where he was placed on the observation hold expiring at approximately 2000 hours.

26-008540 – 6100 BLK Bermuda Avenue - Property Damage
A man stated he was standing in his driveway when a large branch fell from his neighbors' tree striking his SUV and himself. The SUV sustained significant damage; the man had a small laceration above his left eye and another on his left forearm. He denied needing a medical evaluation. A report will be completed on property damage.

26-008539 – 5300 BLK Greenbriar Road - Theft Complaint/Miscellaneous Report
Police responded to this address after a multifaceted complaint was lodged. Officers sorted out the conflicting information and found that no crime had been committed.

26-008526- 3600 BLK Ringgold Road- Alarm
A front interior motion alarm was activated. The building checked secure with no anyone located on the property.

26-008529- 3900 BLK Ringgold Road- Civil Matter
A man called once again reporting he was engaged in a civil dispute over property located at the above address. Both parties have been advised to contact each other through their lawyers from this point forward.

26-008531 – 6400 BLK Ringgold Road- Disorder
Officers were dispatched on a call regarding a customer reaching over the counter to get a cup for the drink they had paid for. Once on scene, officers were told by management that they did not want to trespass the individual.

26-008533 – 1400 BLK Saint Thomas Street- Assault
Officers were dispatched to the motel on an assault. Once on scene officers were informed that one man had sprayed chemicals in another’s eye during a fight. The aggressor was arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault.

26-008542 – 5400 BLK Dupont Street - TPO Violation
A woman, who lives at an apartment complex at the above address, has a TPO from her next-door neighbor. The caller claimed that the woman had walked past her front porch area, violating her TPO. The two front porches are less than 15 feet from each other. There was no evidence of a violation.

26-008537 – 4800 BLK South Terrace – Arrest
Police observed a white Dodge Ram 1500 with an expired license plate on South Moore Road. A traffic stop was conducted, with the vehicle stopping at the above address. The driver was found to have an arrest warrant for driving on revoked out of East Ridge. He was transported to Hamilton County Jail without incident.

Night Shift September 4: C Squad

26-008553 – 1400 BLK Sewanee Drive - Domestic Assault
Officers responded regarding a domestic assault. The female reporting party stated her ex-boyfriend shoved past her and smacked her hat after she asked him to leave. No injuries were observed. The man denied assaulting the woman. The man was trespassed from the residence and released to his mother. No charges were filed due to insufficient evidence. Proximity restriction #26-000203.

26-008558 - 6200 BLK Ringgold Road - Vehicle Fire
Police responded to the fast-food establishment after a customer's vehicle caught fire. The customer extinguished the fire prior to officer arrival.

26-008556 – 400 BLK Cedar Glen Circle - Wellbeing Check
Officers were dispatched after a concerned father called in to check the wellbeing of his children after his wife nor kids had contacted him. The children were found sleeping peacefully.

26-008559 – 5400 BLK Ringgold Road - Arrest
A man was taken into custody for DUI following a suspicious vehicle encounter.

Day Shift September 3: B Squad

26-008500 – 800 BLK Poindexter Avenue - Check Wellbeing
The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation requested police perform a wellbeing check on the resident after she made repeated nonsensical phone calls to the agency. The woman denied needing assistance.

26-008504- 4400 BLK Ringgold Road- Mental Health
Police made contact after a passerby observed a male tapping chairs behind the building. Police contacted the man, who stated he was playing an air guitar with the chair. He stated he just needed to stay near the tree for some shade since it was hot out.

26-008491- 5400 BLK Oakdale Avenue- Disorder
Police responded to a disorder involving a man and woman after the woman attempted to enter the man’s new residence without being invited inside. Multiple parties confirmed the man is currently residing in the rear residence and is paying rent to the landlord. Due to conflicting statements regarding the incident and both parties agreeing to separate, no further action was taken.

26-008496- 4100 BLK Monroe Street- Suspicious Person
Police responded to the 4100 block of Monroe Street after a male parked his camper in the roadway and set up a station to raise money for ma*****na legalization. The male refused to move when asked by store employees. After police arrived, the male moved the camper out of the roadway and was advised of East Ridge municipal codes regarding solicitation.

26-008499- 5300 BLK Bennett Road- Arrest
ERPD assisted the US Marshalls in taking a woman into custody on an outstanding Hamilton County Sessions warrant for aggravated animal cruelty. She was transported to Hamilton County Jail.

Night Shift September 3: D Squad

26-008514 – 1400 BLK North Smith Street – Narcotics Arrest
An ERPD Officer got out with two individuals suspected of possessing illegal narcotics. One individual gave a fake name and date of birth to the officer; he was quickly identified and placed in handcuffs. He stated he ate 1.5 grams of fentanyl. Officers searched for an abandoned bag in the area from which he had emerged. Suspected methamphetamine and Fentanyl were in the abandoned property. The bag was eventually identified as the suspect’s property by a witness. He was transported to the hospital for a possible overdose, and warrants were applied for.

26-008520-6400 BLK Ringgold Road-Assault
Employees at the above location stated that a customer came through the drive-through and spat on employees. Officers were unable to obtain camera footage of the incident. Charges are pending review of the video.

26-008521 – 3600 BLK Ringgold Road – Alarm
Officers responded to the above address for an alarm activation. The business appeared secure, and officers did not observe any signs of forced entry or property damage.

No Number Assigned – 4214 Ringgold Road – Warrant Service
Dispatch advised that a party was in custody at the Catoosa County Jail, and he was showing several warrants through East Ridge City Court. Officers verified the warrants, and a hold request was sent to Catoosa County Jail.

Day Shift September 2: B Squad

26-0084760- 1000 BLK South Seminole- Disorder Prevention
The caller requested assistance at her residence to retrieve several personal items following her release from jail under specified conditions. She advised that a male, who’s name she did not know, previously resided at the residence had left a Wi******er r***e at the location and stated that the fi***rm did not belong to her. Officers collected the r***e and secured it in the property room at the East Ridge Police Department.

26-008461- 5500 BLK Ringgold Road- Pedestrian Struck
Police were called after a truck struck a pedestrian walking across the street in this block range. Police arrived on scene and provided Medical Care until East Ridge Fire and Hamilton County Emergency Medical Services arrived. Police identified the male as Robert Watters and assisted HCEMS in transporting him. He was transported in critical condition, and the crash site was blocked to collect evidence.

26-008462-3900 BLK Bennett Road- Theft
The owner stated that he discovered company equipment was missing the previous day at approximately 0900 hours. He reported approximately $2,600 worth of company tools stolen. At the time of the report, there were no known suspects or investigative leads.

26-008464- 1400 BLK Choate Road- Theft
Police responded to a report of unauthorized payroll deductions. It was reported that $270.00 was accessed from her paychecks through a fraudulent Tapcheck account created using her information. No suspect information is available currently.

26-008471 – 1000 BLK South Seminole Drive - Disorder
The caller reported he came to the residence to retrieve some property and while doing so, the former occupant of the garage on the bottom of the hill blocked the driveway with his car, preventing his departure. Police spoke with the other half, who claimed he was advised by the owner of the condemned property that no one was allowed at the residence on the hill. Police spoke with Codes Enforcement, who advised this was inaccurate as no evictions have been executed at this time, and the current residents are allowed to remove their property but cannot reside here. The garage tenant was advised not to impede anyone's departure or arrival.

26-008473 – 5700 BLK Roper Street- Disorder
Police were dispatched to the above address regarding a verbal disagreement. On scene police spoke with a man who stated his neighbor became irate upon making eye contact. A verbal altercation ensued, culminating with one claiming the other had pulled out a pocketknife and stating his intention to use it to defend himself if attacked. The alleged knife wielder stated that a verbal altercation had occurred but denied having a pocketknife at the time of the disagreement. He stated the other man had followed him, making him fear for his safety. Both parties agreed to keep their distance from one another.

Night Shift September 2: D Squad

26-008481 – 6700 BLK Ringgold Road- Narcotics
EPRD conducted a stop on two individuals attempting to deliver an unknown quantity of Ma*****na. Officers stopped and placed one in custody.

26-008482-5700 Roper Street-Domestic Disorder
Police responded to this location after the caller reported that his girlfriend had locked him out. On scene, the caller planned on staying at a friend's house and just needed his belongings. Police assisted in gathering his belongings, and he left the scene.

26-008483- 5400 BLK Connell Street - Disorder Prevention
The caller requested ERPD to stand by while she collected her belongings from a residence. During the process of retrieving her property, she decided to stay with the man and not return home to Augusta, GA. PD departed the scene due to no longer being a need to prevent a disorder.

26-008484-5300 BLK Spriggs Street- Disorder Prevention
Police stood by while a resident gathered her belongings. The caller reported a previous disorder when trying to gather belongings and wanted a PD present.

26-008487 – 800 BLK Poindexter Avenue – Miscellaneous
Officers responded to the above address after the resident, a persistent reporter of various things, reported to dispatch that someone had been killed. Officers were able to determine that no one had been killed. Officers located an obituary for the deceased individual and contacted the appropriate law enforcement agency where the individual died. The agency advised that the individual died of apparent natural causes and no foul play was suspected. An APS referral was completed due to the caller’s continued apparent mental health crisis, the continued calls she has made to 911, and the unsanitary condition of her home.

26-008488 – 3400 BLK Land Street – Overdose
Officers responded to the above location for an overdose. Upon arrival, officers were informed that the individual was no longer overdosing. ERFD and EMS arrived on scene to evaluate the individual. The individual refused to be transported to the hospital. A DCS referral was completed due to a child living in the home. DCS referral 1559841498.

Day Shift September 1: A Squad

No Compliant Number – 1000 McHann Drive – Extra Patrol
The caller requests extra police presence between 1500 and 1600 on school days due to vehicles traveling at a high rate of speed and disregarding the school bus stop sign as children are dropped off.

26-008439 – 7100 BLK Tanager Court - Suspicious Activity
Police responded to a duplex on reports two men with orange gloves covered the tenants ring camera and were walking around the property. Upon arrival police observed a pick-up truck with power washing logos on the side as well as two men wearing matching pressure washing uniforms. The men advised they were off duty fire fighters working on pressure washing the duplexes.

26-008446 - Ringgold Road & Scruggs Road - Missing Endangered Adult
Police were advised a woman got upset with her aunt, exited the vehicle and walked off. Patrol spoke with the aunt who advised the woman works at a business on Ringgold Road. Management at the business confirmed they provided their employee with a ride to a residence in Georgia. The aunt advised she spoke with the woman and would call Georgia authorities if she needed further assistance.

26-008448- 800 BLK Poindexter Avenue- Misc. Report
The caller stated she told police she was drugged with P*P and another unknown drug on the night of 07/30/2026 by a suspect. She then stated she did not wish to press charges or do anything with it but just wanted police to be aware, so it did not happen again. When asked by police, the woman could not provide any evidence of the alleged crime. She was upset that she reported this event on 8/1/26 when she was arrested for an outstanding harassment warrant and nothing was done by ERPD. Upon reviewing body camera of that day, it was discovered that she made the allegation, but stated it occurred in Chattanooga and the arresting officer advised her to make a report with Chattanooga PD. A miscellaneous report was generated to document the encounter.

26-008438 – 4200 BLK Ringgold Road - Disorder/Proximity Restriction
Police responded after a male called in saying that he was threatened in the parking lot. Upon arrival, Officers spoke with the reporting party who stated that he was walking inside the store when his baby mama's new boyfriend came up to him and tried to fight him. He said that the male threatened him physically in the parking lot, also threatening to shoot him when they got inside the store. He claimed he was in fear for his safety and wanted a report and a warrant taken out on the male so that next time he could, "do what he needed to do". The man was informed of the self-defense law and was told that he cannot go instigate a confrontation and be justified in using force. Officers spoke with staff who claimed that from what they saw inside the store, it appeared that the caller was the instigator and aggressor. The manager asked for the caller to be trespassed from the store. See proximity restriction 26-000198. The other male involved in the disorder had yet to be identified.

26-008444 – 4300 BLK Lazard Street - Suspicious Person
Police responded to this address after a resident called in about a male in her front yard with a metal detector. The male was on scene for approximately ten minutes. He rang the caller's doorbell and proceeded to use a metal detector in her front yard. Upon arrival, patrol checked the area, but the male was not on scene. Officers checked the neighboring streets and were unable to locate him. There was no damage or defacement to property.

26-008447 - John Ross Road/Ringgold Road – Disorder
Police responded to the parking lot to speak with the caller who said he was involved in a possible road rage incident. He reported driving north bound on John Ross Road when a white Chevy truck came up on his bumper. The truck rode his bumper for a short distance, pulled back, then sped up to the bumper several times. He said on scene that he did not believe that the male driving the truck was road raging, and he believed that he was just a young kid being irresponsible. The truck was last seen going down South Moore Road. Officers were unable to locate.

Night Shift September 1: C Squad

26-008460 – 3400 BLK Ringgold Road - Business Alarm
Police responded to a business alarm. Upon arrival, officers checked all doors and found them secure. Officers observed no signs of forced entry around the building.

26-008455 – 3900 BLK Ringgold Road - Theft
Police responded for a theft in progress. The clerk identified the suspect. The woman admitted to taking two sodas and a container of Pringles because she was hungry and did not have money to pay. The items were returned, and the business declined prosecution.

26-008451 – 1500 Keeble Street – Traffic Stop/Arrest -
ERPD conducted a traffic stop on a Chevy Malibu for a seatbelt violation. The passenger had an active warrant out of Hamilton County for failure to pay child support. She was transported to Hamilton County Jail without incident.

26-008453 – 6300 BLK Ringgold Road -Domestic Disorder
Police responded to reports of a male subject in a blue Tacoma chasing a female down Ringgold Road. Officers contacted the female and determined she exited her husband's vehicle after a verbal argument. She was given a ride back to her residence.

26-008456 – 6700 BLK Ringgold Road - Disorder
Officers were dispatched after someone called in parties from the neighboring hotel room were kicking and beating on his door. It was discovered that parties from two rooms had been in a verbal altercation. Parties from both rooms denied it ever got physical however management told officers a party had a knife in his hand. All occupants from both rooms denied ever seeing a knife, but due to safety concerns, management wanted everyone to leave and be trespassed. All left without further incident.

26-008450 – 400 BLK Cedar Glen Circle - Unknown 911
Officers were dispatched to the above after dispatch received a call and were immediately disconnected. Attempts by dispatch were made to contact the caller, to no success. Officers observed no signs of distress at the address.

26-008457 – 4200 BLK Ringgold Road - Domestic Assault/Arrest
ERPD responded to an active assault between a male and female at the gas station. Officers located a female at the door yelling at a male. The woman stated she was in a verbal altercation with her child's father and admitted to pushing his face. Units spoke to the man, who stated that prior to the incident, she threw her phone at the vehicle while he was leaving for work. When he arrived at the gas station, she arrived shortly after and re-initiated the argument. The woman was placed in custody and charged with Domestic Assault and Disorderly Conduct.

Day Shift August 31: A Squad

26-008394 – 6500 BLK Ringgold Rd – Broken Down Auto
A patrolling officer found a broken-down Honda CR-V and assisted the motorist by pushing the vehicle out of the roadway into a parking lot.

26-008396 – 2000 BLK Lee Street - Open Door/Miscellaneous
Police responded to this address after a passerby called to report the front door was open, no one appeared to be home, and the sound of water running inside. ERPD responded and checked the residence. There was no one in need of help. The resident was contacted by phone and said she was in the process of moving out. She denied needing assistance. The front door was locked and secured by officers.

26-008406 – 500 BLK Wando Drive – Harassment
Police responded to this address after a man called to report he was being harassed and threatened over the phone. He said he was on a website on 8/30/2026 around 11 PM. His browser was redirected and it went to another website "secretbenefits.com". The next day he began receiving phone calls and texts from random numbers saying that he "wasted their girls' time" and that he needed to pay them $3000 to settle the debt or else his family would be hurt. They also sent a picture of a bloody and mutilated co**se as part of the intimidation. The caller was told to block the numbers and stay off creepy websites.

Night Shift August 31: C Squad

26-008414 – 1900 BLK McBrien Road - Residential Fire
Police responded to the above residence regarding an oven fire. Upon arrival, the homeowner stated she had forgotten she placed a plastic Tupperware container inside the oven before preheating it to cook a pizza. The scene was turned over to the Fire Department and EMS.

26-008429 – 1000 BLK South Seminole Drive - Suspicious Activity
Police were dispatched to the above address, which had recently been condemned. Upon arrival, officers observed no signs of anyone on the property. Officers did observe a female Rottweiler on the property with access to food and water. Code Enforcement and Animal Control will be notified.

26-008430 - 3600 Phelps Street - Harassing Threats
Police spoke with a woman regarding contact from her former neighbor. She was unsure what the subject may post or say; however, she stated the party had not made any threats toward her. The caller wanted to notify police of the situation in case any issues arise in the future.

26-008419 - 5700 BLK Roper Street- Disorder
Police responded to a disorder between neighbors at apartments. The caller stated that her male neighbor came to her apartment and began banging on her door. When asked what he wanted, a verbal argument began and police were called. The dispute was over porch furniture that had been moved but was later discovered that a third party moved it. All of them returned to their apartments.

Police were notified again that the neighbor and the husband of the caller were outside arguing and possibly fighting. Patrol responded back out but due to conflicting stories, a biased witness, and no physical evidence an assault had occurred, all parties were told to return to their homes for the remainder of the night. All individuals involved have also been advised to speak with the property management about all civil matters.

26-008428 - Exit 1A 75 NB - Traffic Stop/Arrest
A suspect was taken into custody for DUI and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia following a traffic stop at this location.

26-008420 – 300 BLK Camp Jordan Parkway - Unknown 911
Police responded to the above, after dispatch received a 911 call, but were disconnected. ERPD found the caller who stated her phone had died, and her keys were locked in her vehicle. The RP was asked to call a locksmith.

26-008423 – 1600 BLK Mack Smith Road - Citizen Wellbeing
A passerby reported seeing a vehicle at this location with the hazard lights on. The RP attempted to contact the owners of the residence, but no one answered the door. Police contacted the residents and learned the vehicle had wiring issues, and all was well.

26-008427 – 4300 BLK Spriggs Street - Missing Juvenile
ERPD responded regarding a missing juvenile who left the residence after becoming upset. After several hours, the juvenile contacted his grandmother and was found to have obtained a ride from a third party. The juvenile was instructed to return home, and the driver was advised of potential criminal liability if he knowingly assisted the juvenile in remaining away from his custodian. Police located the juvenile at the business in East Ridge and returned him home.

Day Shift August 30: B Squad

26-008377- 6200 BLK Ringgold Road- Back EMS
Police were requested after EMS had been called for a medical call. It was determined this party had called in multiple times just to be transported and doesn’t provide a legitimate medical complaint. Police stayed on scene until HCEMS advised patrol was okay to leave.

No Case Number- 5000 BLK South Terrace- Back Other Agency
Police assisted the Chattanooga Police Department after a stolen vehicle crashed into a guardrail at this location. Prior to police arriving, the suspect fled and got into another blue Nissan SUV.

Night Shift August 30: D Squad

26-008378 – 5300 BLK Clemons Road– Mental Health
Officers were dispatched to the above address after receiving a call from an individual in McMinn County stating the individual was threatening self-harm. On scene, officers contacted the resident who stated that he was not suicidal and did not need EMS.

26-008387 – 5300 BLK Clemons Road – Assist EMS
Officers were dispatched to the above address in reference to a male party bleeding from the wrist. Patrol again made contact, and the resident reported that his arm slipped and caused him to cut his wrist. EMS transported to the emergency room for further medical care.

26-008388 & 26-008390 – 800 BLK South Seminole Drive – Suspicious Activity

Police responded to investigate a report of indecent exposure. The suspect left the scene before the patrol arrived. The complainant caught the incident on her ring camera.

26-008393- 5300 BLK Clemons Road - Auto Burglary
Officers responded to this address to investigate an indecent exposure complaint. After completing the investigation, officers observed five vehicles with the driver's-side rear windows busted out, and it appeared that the suspect climbed through the broken window and rummaged through the vehicles. One vehicle owner reported that his fi***rm was taken from his vehicle. The owners of the other four vehicles reported that nothing of value was taken.
