A little creativity with lunch today! 🎨🔵

In celebration of International Dot Day, students had the chance to work together on grade-level dot masterpieces as they finished lunch. We loved seeing their creativity, teamwork, and imagination come together with each colorful addition! ❤️

Today, September 15, we celebrate International Dot Day, a global celebration inspired by Peter H. Reynolds’ book The Dot. It’s a day all about creativity, courage, confidence, and making your mark! ✨

In the story, a simple dot helps one student discover what can happen when we are willing to try, believe in ourselves, and see where our creativity takes us. We hope our Whiteknact Anchors always remember that their ideas matter and that even the smallest mark can be the beginning of something amazing! ⚓️❤️

Perfect Attendance = More Chances to WIN!

Every week that a student has perfect attendance, they’ll earn a raffle ticket to place into the prize raffle of their choice!

At the end of the quarter, we’ll draw one winner for each awesome prize:

🎉⚓️ 97.4% ATTENDANCE TODAY! ⚓️🎉

Whiteknact families, you are absolutely crushing it! 💙 Today, 97.4% of our students are here, learning, growing, and showing up!

Of course, we know absences happen — especially when little ones are sick. What we appreciate SO much is that, even with the very few absences we’ve had, our families have done an amazing job communicating with us and keeping us informed.

Thank you for making attendance a priority and for being such great partners. What an incredible way to start the year! 💙⚓️

🛍️ Show your Whiteknact pride and grab some Anchor gear for the whole family! The online shop will remain open until 11:59 PM on Tuesday, September 15th. Please be sure to place ALL orders through the online shop by the deadline. NO LATE ORDERS WILL BE ACCEPTED.

⚓️ A portion of every item purchased will go directly to our Whiteknact PTA to help support our students and school throughout the year!

📦 Once orders are completed and delivered to school, Mrs. Elmasian will distribute your child’s order to bring home. Estimated delivery is October 9th.
