Books build confidence, strengthen reading skills, spark curiosity, and give kids a chance to get lost in a great story. We're so grateful to Ticket to Dream Foundation and PaperPie who partnered to help get books into the hands of the foster youth we serve. These stories will help kids keep up with summer reading, discover new adventures, and inspire big imaginations. 💙

A huge thank you to the amazing volunteers from Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Rhode Island who joined us last week to help get our Storefront ready for back-to-school season! 🎒💚

Their team helped set up the space and stuff 271 backpacks with school supplies for elementary, middle, and high school students.

With 175 young people visiting the Storefront last week to pick out backpacks, their help made a big difference in making sure everything was organized, stocked, and ready to go.

We are so grateful to BCBSRI for showing up, rolling up their sleeves, and helping us make back-to-school a little easier and more exciting for the young people and families we serve. 💚

Back-to-school season is in full swing at Foster Forward! 🎒💚

For more than 20 years, Tammie Delmage and WD & Associates, Inc have helped make sure young people start the school year feeling prepared and confident. Since 2005, they have generously donated backpacks for the children and youth we serve, and this year they provided an incredible 271 backpacks for elementary, middle, and high school students, along with all the school supplies to fill them!

Last week, 175 kids visited the Storefront to choose a backpack of their own, and we loved seeing the excitement of picking out just the right one.

Thanks to support from Ticket to Dream Foundation, we were also able to stock up on clothing, shoes, socks, underwear, lunch boxes, water bottles, and all the little things in between that help young people head back to school ready for the year ahead.

It truly takes a community to make moments like these possible. We are so grateful to Tammie, WD & Associates, and Ticket to Dream for helping our kids start the school year with what they need and a little extra confidence, too. 💚

These funds provide critical barrier assistance for young people working toward safe, stable housing. Sometimes, an unexpected expense or practical need can stand in the way of that stability. Flexible support like this allows our team to help young people overcome those barriers and continue moving forward toward independence.
