City of East Point Water Resources Department will conduct scheduled fire hydrant flushing and inspections on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, and Thursday, June 18, 2026, in Ward B. This routine maintenance helps remove sediment and mineral buildup from water lines, improves water quality, and ensures the proper operation of the water distribution system.

The City of East Point Water Resources Department will conduct routine fire hydrant flushing and inspections on Tuesday, June 16, 2026. Scheduled locations include:

• Bayrose

• Lawrence (Woodberry to Saint Joseph)

• Woodberry (Stanton to Lawrence)

• Empire Avenue

This maintenance helps remove sediment and mineral buildup from water lines, improves water quality, and ensures the proper operation of the water distribution system.

Residents may experience:

• Temporary water discoloration (yellow or brown tint)

• Short periods of low water pressure

• Cloudy water caused by air in the lines

If discoloration occurs, run cold water for several minutes until it clears.
