Ward A — I’m excited to see you NEXT WEEK!

Councilmember Eric Friedly and I are hosting our Ward A Community Meeting on Tuesday, September 22 from 6:30–8:30 PM at East Point City Hall.

We’ve got a full evening planned with updates on Downtown projects, neighborhood services, electric reliability, and development happening in Ward A — but just as important, we’re making plenty of time for YOUR questions.

This is our first Ward A community meeting since I took office, and I’m really looking forward to being in the room together, sharing information, hearing what’s on your mind, and talking about what’s ahead.

And yes, refreshments will be provided! 😊

This may be a Ward A meeting, but ALL East Point neighbors are welcome.

East Point neighbors, please be aware of upcoming manhole rehabilitation work scheduled to take place on Sylvan Street in Ward B. This maintenance is an important part of keeping our sewer system functioning safely and efficiently.

📍 Location & Dates:

Sylvan Street, Ward B
Monday, September 14, 2026 – Friday, September 18, 2026
8:00 AM – 5:00 PM daily

🚦 What to Expect:
• One lane closure during working hours
• Traffic flaggers will be present to assist drivers and maintain safe traffic flow

💧 Purpose of Work:
This project will rehabilitate identified manholes to help maintain the overall health and performance of the city’s sewer system.

Monday, September 14 – Wednesday, September 16, 2026
8:00 AM – 5:00 PM daily

📍 Where:
Dauphine Street, Ward B

🚦 Traffic Impact:
• Expect one lane closure during work hours
