Some members of EOFD will participate in the Valerie Fund Run and Walk on Saturday, June 8, 2024 at Verona Park. 🏃🏽‍♂️🏃🏽‍♂️🚶🏽‍♂️🚶🏽‍♂️The run starts at 8:30am (5k [3 miles]) and walk at 10am (1 time around the park). The Valerie Fund's mission is to provide individualized care to children at medical centers close to home, because they believe the most effective way to heal the children in their care is to treat them emotionally, socially and developmentally, as well as medically.

LTrain partnered with East Orange Fire Department to help combat child hunger and food poverty in the community. Thank you to everyone who assisted in helping to load and unload the truck as well as the distribution of food. We were able to serve over 200 families.

Good Morning, just a reminder for Saturdays food pantry @ 60 Main Street !!! EOFD is partnering with some of our neighborhood HEROES to combat child hunger and food poverty in the community. As we know, there are children who go without out proper meals during the summer time. Based on last year's distribution in Orange, NJ, we anticipate serving 150-200 individuals. We kindly request assistance to help load and unload the truck as well as the distribution of food. The organization that sponsors the food pantry is Ltrain Memorial Foundation. The LTrain memorial foundation was founded in memorium of an individual who was active in the Union County Community encouraging youth in academics and athletics.
