Information regarding celebrating U-32 retiring teachers.

This year we have several teachers retiring and because we are not able to honor them in our traditional way, we are holding a card shower! Please send cards to our retirees if you are so moved. We will then package up their cards and give them a box full!

VT National Guard will be at the Edward F. Knapp State Airport in Berlin this Friday, 5/15, 10AM-2PM (tomorrow) distributing FEMA meal boxes, along with produce, chicken, and dairy products provided by The Abbey Group Food Service Anyone is welcome to come pickup food.

Just pull up in your car, open your trunk, and the appropriate amount of food will be loaded by members of the Guard.

Pre-K Registration Update: Washington Central UUSD is pleased to announce that we have moved to online registration for the 2020-2021 school year.

The Pre-K registration process must be completed for students who are attending our public school programs and students who are attending private, pre-qualified programs through Act 166.

Registration for Pre-K 3 is for students who are 3-years-old on or before September 1, 2020. Pre-K 4 is for students who are 4- or 5-years old (5-years-old and not enrolled in Kindergarten) on or before September 1, 2020 from the towns of Berlin, Calais, East Montpelier, Middlesex, and Worcester.

Friday, May 1st (TOMORROW) is School Lunch Hero Day.

While school food service staff deserve our thanks & appreciation every day of every year, this year is especially important. Vermont’s school food service heroes are continuing to work in empty schools to keep Vermont’s kids fed during this uncertain time. They report that they really miss seeing their students, and the drawings and notes of appreciation they receive really brighten their day. Teachers and parents are encouraged to suggest that students send their local food service heroes a message of thanks on Friday. Notes can be left on pick-up coolers, shown from car windows, or posted on social media. Use the hashtags and .
