🐶💦 Nassau County’s Splash Parks Are Going to the Dogs! 🐾

Join us for Doggie Splash “Bark”, a FREE event where your four-legged friends can cool off and have some fun in the splash parks!

🌿 Volunteer Opportunity at Brookside Preserve! 🌿

Help make Brookside Preserve’s East Gate more welcoming and beautiful by joining the Environmental Rotaract of North Central Long Island and Rotary International for a community beautification project.

📅 Saturday, September 12 and19, 2026
🕣 8:30 AM – 1:30 PM
📍 Brookside Preserve East Gate – Brookside Avenue, Freeport, NY

Volunteers will help:
• Spread mulch in the welcome area and along pathways
• Finish garden beds and borders
• Prepare for benches, signage, and final touches
• Assist with general beautification work

🛞 Bring a wheelbarrow if available
🧤 Gloves and grit are needed
🌱 Other tools and materials will be provided

Come lend a hand and help create a greener, more welcoming Brookside Preserve for the community!
