North Star Critical Care Providing 911 response throughout Columbiana County, Ohio. North Star Critical Care LLC is a private ambulance company, established in 2007.

The areas only locally owned and operated service. We are a primary 911 response service that provides Basic Life Support and Advanced Life Support. We also provide a Mobile Intensive Care Unit for the critically ill or injured requiring transfer to higher level of care that the local hospitals are not equipped to provide. Our staff consists of EMT Basics, EMT Advanced, EMT Paramedics, and Registe

red Nurses. Our response areas are throughout Columbiana County. With primary response ( first call ) to St Clair Township - Calcutta and Glenmoor. We also provide ambulance standby for sporting events that help support our athletes in all the types of events that require EMS on site. North Star has a 24 hour / 7 day a week in-house dispatch center. This allows for a one call center and no delay in providing emergency services to the township residents.

Last night, your East Liverpool Fire Department responded to the 600 block of Orchard Grove for a reported structure fire.

Upon arrival, the Truck 1 crew encountered heavy smoke conditions, with fire visible from the eaves of the residence. Fortunately, the occupants had already evacuated after being alerted by working smoke detectors.

Fire crews remained on scene for several hours conducting overhaul operations and extinguishing remaining hot spots. We are pleased to report that there were no injuries or fatalities.

We would like to thank our mutual aid partners from Liverpool Township Fire Department and North Star Critical Care for their assistance and support during this incident.

Remember: Working smoke detectors save lives. Be sure to test yours regularly and replace batteries as needed.

Berkshire Rd. • Longs Church Rd. • Cricket Lane

Please be advised that the following roads in St. Clair Township will be closed to through traffic for essential road repairs:

• Berkshire Road – between Calcutta-Smith Ferry Road and St. Clair Avenue
• Longs Church Road – between Calcutta-Smith Ferry Road and Parkway
• Cricket Lane – between Calcutta-Smith Ferry Road and Duke Road

📅 Closure Schedule:
• Monday, June 8, at 6:00 AM through Thursday, June 11, at 3:00 PM
• Monday, June 15 through Tuesday, June 16 at 3:00 PM

Motorists are encouraged to plan ahead and use alternate routes whenever possible. To allow crews to complete the work safely and efficiently, we ask that traffic on these roadways be kept to a minimum during the closure periods.

Residents, emergency vehicles, delivery services, and utility vehicles will continue to have access at all times.

We apologize for any inconvenience and appreciate your patience and cooperation as we make these necessary roadway improvements to better serve our community.
