Potter Preschool Registration is Now Open! 📚

East Liverpool Preschool is now accepting registrations for the 2026-2027 school year! Give your child a strong start in a caring, engaging, and nurturing learning environment where young learners grow, explore, and thrive.

✅ Registration packets are available now
✅ Preschool screening and acceptance information will be sent later this summer
✅ Required enrollment forms and documentation must be completed and returned for your child to be considered for placement

Required documents include:
• Child’s birth certificate
• Current immunization records
• Parent/guardian ID
• Proof of income
• Social Security card
• Custody papers (if applicable)

💙Celebrating a True Potter Legend! 💙

Today, we want to recognize and celebrate Mr. Al Johnson, our Physical Education teacher at LaCroft Elementary, for two incredible accomplishments: being the longest-tenured teacher in East Liverpool City School District and achieving perfect attendance this school year!

Mr. Johnson is the kind of educator every child deserves. For decades, he has poured his heart into the students of East Liverpool, always showing up with kindness, patience, encouragement, and an unwavering commitment to helping children succeed. Whether he’s teaching in the gym, cheering students on, or coaching on the football field, Mr. Johnson gives his all to our community each and every day.

What makes Mr. Johnson truly special isn’t just his years of service—it’s the way he treats every child who walks through our doors. He loves and cares for his students as if they were his own, building relationships that leave a lasting impact long after they leave elementary school.

His perfect attendance this year is just another example of the dedication and reliability that have defined his career. Through every season, challenge, and change, Mr. Johnson has remained a constant source of positivity and support for our students and staff.

The 4th graders definitely made the last day of school one to remember! 🎉😎
Everything was going great until School Resource Officer Beau launched a surprise silly string attack out of nowhere! 🤣 Students and staff were caught completely off guard as colorful silly string flew everywhere.
But the 4th graders weren't about to let that slide! After regrouping and planning their comeback, they got their revenge and covered Officer Beau in silly string from head to toe! 🎯😂
The laughter, smiles, and friendly fun made for an unforgettable end to an amazing school year. Huge thanks to Officer Beau for being such a great sport and helping create memories these students will be talking about for years to come!
