I had the distinct pleasure of finally getting to meet my friend John Martin from Liverpool England today... John contacted me a year ago about a trip he was planning to come to East Liverpool to learn as much as he could about the last few days of Pretty Boy Floyd. John is an author of several books about various gangsters in the '30s along with other historical figures.
John and I spent the day together going to all of the places involved with Floyd, he got to meet several people along the way!! One of the coolest things was Mayor Bobby Smith read a proclamation stating that September 6th will for Here on be known as John Martin day for the city of East Liverpool!!!
Oh, Johns full time job...He's a stand up comedian!! John and his wife traveled from England to New York on the Queen Mary ship where John was the entertainment along the way!.. How cool is that?..Overall a great day with a cool new friend and fan of East Liverpool...

The police museum had a couple cool items donated from the Saline Township Police department and officer Chrisse Jones.....

The police museum had a couple cool items donated from the Saline Township Police department and officer Chrisse Jones... A cool bubble light and a photo kit which were both used during the 1970s... These items are on display at the Museum. Book a tour and take a look! ( The suspect in the photo kit picture might look a little familiar to you...lol)

The museum had a couple cool visitors yesterday who came for a tour...Kellie and Rob. Kellie is visiting from Los Angeles! They spent some time with us and Kellie learned a little about brass knuckles and as you can see....so did Rob! They also brought some of their paranormal equipment and did a little spiritual exploring!! I'll post their findings later!
