Step one in any plan to vote is checking to see if you are registered. In Michigan you can do this by going to https://mvic.sos.state.mi.us/ and clicking on "Am I registered?" under "Your voter information".

Please consider assisting local refugee families who are no longer eligible to receive SNAP benefits. Share this post!

Starting October 1st, upcoming federal changes to SNAP benefits will directly impact many individuals and families within our community. From children to older adults, many of our neighbors will face a significant reduction in food assistance.

To help bridge this gap, we are asking for your support. Please consider donating items from the food list included in this post to our center. Every donation will be carefully packaged based on the individual family needs of those impacted by this policy.

The victims were innocent, The first responders were courageous. The country mourned. We remember with love and sympathy.

On September 11, we remember the lives lost and the first responders and everyday heroes who showed extraordinary courage.

We honor their memory by caring for one another, strengthening our communities, and continuing to build a democracy rooted in the values that unite us.
