Last night Det 380 hosted their annual Dining Out, a formal military event where cadets, cadre, friends, and family gather to celebrate a year of accomplishments and recognize the semester's award winners. This year, we welcomed Nicholas Rowe, Lt Col, USAF (Ret.) to give the evening's remarks, as well as multiple representatives from award groups in the area. Congratulations to all the cadets who were recognized for their excellence during this semester, and happy summer Det 380!

This past Saturday, 10 representatives from Det 380 completed the Minnesota Norwegian Foot March, an annual event held by the Vessey AUSA Chapter of Minnesota in conjunction with University of Minnesota Army ROTC.
The NFM is a 30 km foot march with a minimum ruck weight of 11 kg for competitors looking to secure official NFM completions. The parameters were originally a Norwegian Army endurance test, and now the NFM badge is one of the authorized foreign decorations for U.S. servicemembers.
One of many physical challenges Det 380 cadets complete, the NFM is a key event in the Spring Semester. Congrats to all participants!
