As we received a significant snow accumulation over the past 48hrs, we want to remind residents to ensure that their gas meters and utility vents are free of snow and ice. Keeping these vents clear allows carbon monoxide (CO) and other fumes to properly vent outside, preventing them from backing up into your home.

Protect your home and loved ones! You can't see, smell, or taste a CO leak. Be sure a working carbon monoxide detector is installed in your home. This crucial device can save lives in the event of a CO leak.
