Bonnie Jones and Glenn Henderson for Tri-Lakes Fire Trustees

Bonnie Jones and Glenn Henderson for Tri-Lakes Fire Trustees Informational page for the election of Bonnie Jones and Glenn Henderson to the Tri-Lakes Volunteer Fire Department Board of Trustees.

Bonnie Jones is a lifelong resident of East Helena, a landowner, farmer/rancher and mother of five children. She and her husband, Casey, are partners on the family ranch where Bonnie was raised and where they now raise their children. Bonnie is a servant at heart! She is dedicated to homeschooling her kids, farm and ranch work, and serving her church and community. She is in her 5th term as Truste

e of the Tri-Lakes Volunteer Fire Department, a Board Member for the Montana Fire Trustees Association, serves as the Montana Farm Bureau Women’s Leadership Committee Chair for Lewis and Clark County and is a member of the Montana Cattlewomen’s Association. Bonnie believes in the volunteers and has seen first-hand the dedication and caring they readily give to the fire department and the residents. She believes in taking care of the volunteers because without them, there is no fire department to take care of us all. Please help Bonnie continue her quest to give back to her hometown, her friends, and neighbors. Please re-elect Bonnie Jones to the Tri-Lakes Fire Service Area’s Board of Trustees. Glenn Henderson -

My name is Glenn Henderson and I am running for Trustee of Tri-Lakes Fire Dept. I have been a volunteer firefighter for Tri-Lakes Fire Department for 14 years, retiring, just recently, as a Captain. I have been directly involved in the modernization of the equipment and buildings during my tenure. I am proud of the improvements we have made and look forward to helping with the future. I want to continue to serve the fire department and my community by becoming a Trustee. As a Trustee, I want to continue our record of spending your money wisely and effectively while providing for the safety of our volunteers. The heart and soul of our fire department is our volunteer firefighters and emergency medical technicians (EMTs). Without them, the best trucks and stations in the world do no good. Providing the best equipment, training, and safety net we can provide, keeps them dedicated and giving of their free time and effort. I would appreciate your vote. Please vote your mail-in ballot and return it by the May 2nd deadline.

Bob Jones Memorial Service Details

The outpouring of support for Bob Jones’ family, friends, and those who worked closely with him, has been remarkable. It is evident Jones had an extraordinary impact on our community and the many lives he touched. His legacy of service, integrity, and sacrifice lives on in those lucky enough to receive his guidance and mentorship.

Jones served our community and our country nobly for over 50 years: Montana Air National Guard - 120th Airlift Wing 1967-2000, Great Falls MT Police Department 1971-2006 (as Chief 1986-2006), and City of Great Falls - Local Government City Commission 2010-2017 (served as Mayor Pro Tem both terms).

The Jones family, staff from the GFPD and Cascade County Sheriff/Coroner's Office, and several community members, are working closely to prepare a service that honors Jones in the fashion he earned.

A public memorial service is happening this Saturday, January 22, 2022 at 11am, in the Mansfield Center for the Performing Arts theater at the Civic Center (2 Park Drive, Great Falls).

A public reception will be held in the Missouri Room (Civic Center 2nd floor) immediately following the service.

It is apparent Jones built strong relationships across the state; all first responders are invited to attend the services. Marked law enforcement vehicles will have designated parking.

In keeping with tradition, during the service, there will be a section reserved for uniformed personnel. To ensure accommodations are adequate, if an agency is planning to attend they are asked to contact Lt Doug Mahlum at 406-781-8931 or [email protected].

Attendees should arrive early and expect limited parking. Passenger drop off and a handicap accessible entrance is located on the north side of the Civic Center at door “F”.

The Jones family requests, in lieu of flowers, contributions go to Benefis Peace Hospice.
