East Haven Public Safety Communications Center receives 911 emergency and routine calls for police, fire, and emergency medical services for the Town of East Haven, Connecticut. Our staff includes ten highly trained Public Safety Dispatchers, who are certified by the International Academies of Emergency Dispatch in police, fire, and emergency medical dispatch procedures. All of our dispatchers hav

e some form of additional training, which enhances their ability to serve the Town of East Haven. Our dispatchers have degrees in Forensic Science, Criminal Justice, Psychology, and Early Childhood Education. Our dispatchers are also firefighters, emergency medical technicians, instructors and a member of the Coast Guard on staff. We are more than glorified secretaries; we are professionals ready to respond to any emergency request at any time.
