It's always "happening" at Hagaman Library! Next weekend features our usual Friday Crafty Tales Story-Time with Youth Services Librarian Miss Caitlin on Friday, followed by an all ages America250-themed Movie Matinee in the Community Room, where we'll enjoy some fresh popcorn and take in the Disney 1957 classic "Johnny Tremain."

Do you think President Washington liked popcorn, or would it have gotten stuck in his dentures? There's only one way to find out: Join us next Saturday for a special America250-themed bonus meeting of Cookbook Club, where chefs are invited to prepare sample size dishes inspired by some of President George Washington's favorite foods! No RSVP is required for any of these programs.

All programs are free, open to all youths 12 - 18, and no RSVP is needed. For further information about these events, as well as how to get started with the Teen Summer Reading Games, please contact Emily Kalotai, Teen Services Librarian, at either 203-468-3890 x 107 or [email protected].

Hagaman Library's Youth Services Librarian, Miss Caitlin, will be joined by her friends from the East Haven Family Resource Center tomorrow morning, Friday, May 29th at 10:30am for another fun Bilingual Family Story-Time! This month, we'll be reading "ยฟDรณnde estรก la oveja verde? / Where is the Green Sheep?", written by Mem Fox and illustrated by Judy Horacek, making fluffy and colorful sheep drawings, and giving away free, bilingual copies of the book to each family in attendance!
