East Hartford Public Library celebrates America 250 and the 30th anniversary of Mark Harutunian’s book, "June 14, 1996: A day in the life of East Hartford," which documented life in town over a 24-hour period. The book was a compilation of the work of many local photographers who attempted to capture the essence of East Hartford on a single day.
We invite community members to again capture a snapshot of town life over the period of June 14, 2026. from 12:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m.
