Behind every specialized unit is a commitment to preparation, discipline, and continuous improvement.

The work doesn’t always happen in the spotlight, but every training session is an opportunity to sharpen our skills, strengthen our team, and raise the standard ⚡

Big thanks to Sgt. Trochez for stopping by to speak with the East Hartford Middle School Task Force students! She showcased our tactical gear and answered their questions about what it takes to do the job.

We currently have 25 students in the program, from 6th to 8th grade: 20 girls and 5 boys. One of the best parts of today was seeing how motivated they are. About 7 to 10 of the girls told us they want to become police officers and join a SWAT team.

Thanks again, Sgt. Trochez, for talking with these future officers! 🙌🏽

This is long overdue, but their commitment to becoming better leaders and continuing to grow professionally deserves recognition.

This late summer, our very own Lt. Caruso and Lt. Camp (both in the far-right/middle row) completed the FBI LEEDA Trilogy series. This three-part course is one of the most comprehensive and respected leadership development programs in law enforcement.

Great job Lieutenants! 👏🏼
