Thursday December 3,2012 at 7PM East Hampton Town is having a public hearing on a Deer Management Plan. It's a 3 to 5 year plan that will inventory the deer herds and their location; addresses culling the herd and then a maintenance program to keep the deer population at a sustainable level. The EHBA has been lobbying for such a plan for over four years and pleased that the deer problem will finally be addressed. The Town Board needs to hear from the public that there is support for this plan in order to move forward with it. Please attend the hearing if you can and if you are unable to attend email or call the Town Board and the Town Clerk with your comments. Thank you!
