What an incredible celebration yesterday at the Montauk St. Patrick’s Day Parade! Mayor Jerry Larsen was proud to march alongside this year’s 64th Grand Marshal, Tom Grenci — a true local hero whose years of service and dedication to our community were on full display.

Congratulations to Grand Marshal Tom Grenci, and thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate! 🇮🇪☘️

Earlier this month, Mayor Jerry Larsen visited the Governor’s Mansion in Albany and was able to thank Governor Hochul directly for her newly introduced: “Local Cops, Local Crimes Act” legislation designed to protect constitutional rights, strengthen public safety, and ensure that local law enforcement remains focused on addressing local crime.

The proposed legislation would prohibit local law enforcement and municipal resources from being used for federal civil immigration enforcement, eliminate 287 agreements, and require a judicial warrant before federal agents can enter sensitive locations, including homes, schools, hospitals, and houses of worship.

Mayor Jerry Larsen congratulates Coach McKee on his retirement as Head Coach of the Bonackers Football program.

Coach McKee didn’t just coach football — he rebuilt a tradition. At a time when our program needed leadership, vision, and heart, he stepped up and brought Bonackers Football back to life!

Because of his hard work and belief in our student-athletes, Friday nights once again became a source of pride for our entire community.

Under his leadership, young men learned far more than the game. They learned discipline, resilience, teamwork, and what it means to represent East Hampton with character.

On behalf of the Village of East Hampton, thank you, Coach McKee, for bringing back Bonacker pride and for everything you’ve given to our community. We wish you a well-earned and happy retirement.

❄️ FAQ: “Where does all the snow go?” ❄️

Great question! After our plows clear downtown streets, the snow gets hauled to Two Mile Hollow Beach. Our DPW crews work around the clock during storms to keep roads safe and passable.

We’ve been using this location for over 50 years! The collected snow is stored there until it naturally melts. We can’t just push it into storm drains or waterways - proper snow disposal helps protect our water systems and keeps streets clear for everyone.

Thanks to our hardworking crews for keeping our Village moving this winter! 💙
