The Ready, Set, workABILITY Training Program starts October 23rd, and the team is busy getting READY for the trainees' arrival at the Skills for Rhode Island's Future office next week! The trainees are participating in a paid 2-week customer service and skill-building program designed for neurodiverse jobseekers.

This program will feature several workplace training activities and exercises. team members Brittany and Meredith, seen above, are preparing items needed for two of the activities trainees will participate in. The animal stress balls are included in a module designed to educate trainees on managing stress in the workplace and their personal lives. The bead sorting exercise is a fun way to stimulate critical thinking, a necessary skill for the workplace and beyond!
