Megan and I moved to East Grand Rapids from Kalamazoo in 2005, choosing East Grand Rapids because of its dedication to quality schools, local businesses and strong community values. We have put down strong roots here and I am committed working hard in service of the residents of the third ward, and all of East Grand Rapids.

General information

I serve as one of two commissioners from Ward 3. In addition to my role on the commission, I have pleasure of serving as a member of the East Grand Rapids Community Foundation (2006-), on the Traffic Commission (2012-) and as a board member of the Gaslight Village Business Association (2012-). I am specifically interested in intergovernmental-cooperation as a means to control costs, a successful central business district and walkable neighborhoods.
