Charge on a hard, flat surface like a table, desk, or floor. Beds,
couches, and pillows can trap heat and block airflow, which can
cause a battery to overheat. For more info: fpw.org.

Use the cord and charger that came with your device or ones
approved by the manufacturer. Using the wrong charger can
damage the battery and increase the risk of fire. For more info:

25 years ago today America changed forever. Today we honor the memory of the 343 brave soles of the New York City Fire Department who lost their lives that day. We shall never forget all the lives lost in the Twin Towers, at the Pentagon, and in Shanksville, PA.

Come dunk some great people for a great cause.

Our Dunk Tank Line Up has been finalized! Every year at the EGF Showcase we have a dunk tank where people can dunk a local official/celebrity for a donation of $5 or at least two non-perishable food items. All donations go to the East Grand Forks Food Shelf! This year's victims - I mean volunteers - will be waiting to get dunked at the following times:

5:00 - 5:15 PM - EGF Mayor Mark Olstad
5:15 - 5:30 PM - EGF Fire Chief Paul Hansen
5:30 - 5:45 PM - EGF Public Works Foreman Josh Krostue
5:45 - 6:00 PM - EGF Public Works Employee and Blackjack Motor Sports Driver - Jack Croaker
6:00 - 6:15 PM - EGF Parks and Rec Director Jorgen Erickson
6:15 - 6:30 PM - EGFPD Corporal Justin Roue
6:30 - 6:45 PM - Polk County Sheriff's Office Chief Deputy Mike Norland
6:45 - 7:00 PM - Blue Moose General Manager Casey Morin

Don't forget, Downtown Horns takes the stage at 7:00 PM and will be playing until 9:00 PM! It's shaping up to be a great night!
