A couple weeks ago we honored the past while looking forward to the future. Current members of the fire department met with members of yesteryear to sit down for a meal and good company. We also want to take this moment to honor our significant others, we could not serve this community without your support.

What happens when a Super Bowl squares contest meets a generous heart?

Back in February, our ran a Super Bowl squares contest and agreed to donate a portion of the proceeds to a charity of the winner's choosing. Storeroom Supervisor Wanda Vonasek chose the EGF Fire Department Relief Fund.

With a company match, we're proud to share that $1,500 was donated to support the brave men and women who show up for our community every single day.

The City of East Grand Forks is declaring a snow emergency which will take effect starting tonight, at Midnight. The declared snow emergency shall remain in effect from Wednesday, December 10th at 12:00 a.m. until all streets have been cleared to their full width.

During a snow emergency there shall be no parking on any City street. Please plan accordingly and help our street crews safely and efficiently remove snow from our streets. During the declared snow emergency, vehicles parked on the street are subject to ticketing and towing.
