Today we welcomed Yard Kitty and the Fix'n'Wagn to help 37 cats be spayed or neutered!

The Freedom Township Volunteer Fire Company deeply mourns the loss of our fellow brother, Daniel "Butch" Giarth. Butch has been a member of the fire company for more than 40 years, has held the position of Captain, in the past, and was currently serving as Secretary of the Administration.
Butch was recently nominated for and won the Award for "Fireperson of the Year,” to be given to him at our awards banquet in January. His driving perseverance to preserve the fire company through donations and acts of giving has been greatly appreciated by the Fire Company, it's members, and our community, in his efforts to better us all. Butch has been behind many of our functions at the station, most recently, the fireworks show he had put together with a fellow township business. His dedication will be hard to replace.
The members of this Company send out our prayers and regards to the Giarth Family. One thing that is sure, Butch loved his children and grand-children more than anything in this world.
We pray for comfort in this time of loss.
Rest in Peace, Butch.
