Today we enjoyed some smoked chicken, baked beans, & potato salad to celebrate the accomplishments of the Street Department and cleanup crews from Teen Challenge. It has been a tough summer for these guys so if you see them, tell them thank you for a job well-done.

Great guys!

Going above & beyond is what your City does. Meet Thomas Walker and Tyrone Wells with your Sanitation department.

While on their route, they were asked to assist one of your neighbors whose wife had fallen. Her husband was unable to lift her, and she had been laying on the floor since early morning.

Thank you for upholding your City’s commitment to service Thomas & Tyrone!

Who keeps us looking good? Marcus Devaney, Equipment Operator in Public Works Department, helps keep our streets & waterways clean by doing a heavy cleaning on Cottage Walk. Clean gutters = clean water for our creeks and rivers.

Welcome Rise Up!

Welcome Rise Up!

It’s a beautiful day in our neighborhood as we welcome RISE UP to the Adopt Dublin program.

Pictured: Shawn Wood, Steven Yancey, Ashley Black, Angel Long, and Renia Avera.

An initiative of Keep Dublin-Laurens Beautiful, the Adopt Dublin Program enlists citizen volunteers' help to remove litter from local roadsides. While saving taxpayer dollars, the program provides recognition for partnering companies and organizations, brings the environmental and monetary costs of littering into public awareness, and promotes civic responsibility and pride. The volunteers of the Adopt Dublin program serve as visible reminders to the public that we are all stewards of the land.
