On Saturday, June 6th at 1:00, please join us at Bill W’s gravesite in the East Dorset (Vermont) Cemetery for a brief service as part of our Bill W. Day Celebration. 🇺🇸
•The Wilson House opens at 11:00 AM and we’ll be offering refreshments for sale beginning at 11:30. 🍔🌭
•Following the graveside service, there will be a speaker meeting on the churchyard at 2:00.
•Ice cream social to follow 🍦🍦🍦🍦🍦
•Come share fellowship, recovery and gratitude.

Starting this week, we are pleased to host a weekly N.A. Meeting on Wednesdays at 7pm.

Narcotics Anonymous (NA) is a fellowship of men and women for whom drugs had become a major problem. This open meeting welcomes anyone interested in learning more about recovery through the Twelve Steps. With a rotating format and a message of hope, participants share experience, strength, and encouragement around the simple promise that “any addict can stop using drugs, lose the desire to use, and find a new way to live.”

Bill often described alcoholism as an addiction and believed that the Twelve Steps could be applied broadly to many forms of human suffering. As he wrote, “The principles we have set down are spiritual. They work for all who will honestly try them.”

All are welcome.

Memorial Day Weekend. 🇺🇸 We welcome you to join us for Friday Night Sober Supper, on May 22nd at 5:30. This week’s drawing is inspired by the recently uncovered Memorial Garden at The Wilson House. Our gratitude to volunteer, Dale S., who spent days clearing and planting.
🇺🇸If you are visiting The Wilson House this weekend, please take time to visit the East Dorset Cemetery, just about 1 mile South of the house, and pay your respects to Bill Wilson and Ozzie Lepper, who both served our country.

Meet the Wilson House Crew! 💕✨

Behind every warm welcome, fresh pot of coffee, beautifully prepared meal, inspiring retreat, and meaningful moment of fellowship at The Wilson House, there is an extraordinary team making it all happen.

This dedicated group works tirelessly to care for Bill W.’s birthplace and to ensure that every guest feels at home. They keep this historic house running smoothly, professionally, and—just as importantly—with a great sense of joy and fun. 🤩💃

May has been especially full, with back-to-back retreats, events, tours, and preparations for our biggest fundraiser of the year. Today, we took a well-deserved break to relax, laugh, play, and share a meal together.

The Wilson House is truly a “we” organization—and we are deeply grateful for this remarkable crew. ❤️🏡

Thank you to all who purchased a numbered golf ball to support The Wilson House. Because of your support, the Ball Drop raised more than $12,000 for Bill’s House this year!

The winning numbers were:
1. 246
2. 158
3. 359

The balls were dropped by Marty Hersam & Andrea Kaplan, co-chairs of the golf tournament, from high above the East Dorset Church lawn at approximately 6:30 PM on Sunday, May 17. There were 2 impartial judges, a crowd to help with the countdown, and our ball drop sponsor Carmel from Greenhaven Financial Services to record the winners.

Thank you everyone for participating. We are all winners! 🥰
