This Friday, October 24th from 6:30-8:30pm join us at EB’s Commercial Club for a FREE event honoring your service and educating you on all of the benefits you are entitled to as a U.S. veteran and first responder. Raffles, prizes, supportive representatives, and free dinner!!!

🎓🇺🇸 A long overdue honor for a true hero 🇺🇸🎓

Last week, the East Bridgewater Department of Veterans' Services had the profound honor of recognizing William Driscoll, a 76-year-old Vietnam veteran and proud East Bridgewater resident, in a truly special way.

Mr. Driscoll withdrew from Roslindale High School in Boston nearly 60 years ago to bravely serve his country in the Vietnam War.

Throughout his service, he earned numerous medals and the respect of all who know his story. He finally received what he so richly deserves, his high school diploma.

It was a moving and long-overdue ceremony held at East Bridgewater High School, surrounded by family, friends, and a grateful community. We are deeply thankful to Mr. Driscoll for his sacrifice and service. We’re proud to have been a part of this milestone in his life.

🙏 A special thank you to EBHS for hosting the ceremony, to our own VSO Chris Buckley and Nichole Oliveira for making it all come together, and to everyone who helped make this possible.

The East Bridgewater Department of Veterans Services would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Yaz's Table Brunch Restaurant for their meaningful gesture in honoring our nation's heroes.

They’ve dedicated a chair in their waiting area to Veterans, a simple but powerful tribute that speaks volumes.
