Grace Choir (Mendon Gospel) Concert to Benefit Hands of Hope Kitchen

On Sunday, March 6, the 6th Annual Community Christian Choral Festival is 4:00 PM at the West Bloomfield Congregational Church on Routes 5 & 20. The festival includes church choirs from the East Bloomfield United Methodist Church, First Congregational Church of East Bloomfield, West Bloomfield Congregational Church as well as the Mendon Gospel Choir. A freewill offering benefits the Hands of Hope Kitchen in Bloomfield.

Cornish pasties under construction for the Hands of Hope Kitchen fundraiser tonight at 5pm. Join us at St. Peter's church Bloomfield. Enjoy English pub food then see Kim Tenreiro perform A Christmas Carol. $20 donation supports the kitchen's mission. Join us!

Be sure to support the Hands of Hope Kitchen this Sunday starting at 5PM! Dinner theater with an english meal and the Christmas Carol performed by Kim Tenreiro. Tickets at the door - $20 per person, St. Peter's Episcopal Church, 44 Main Street Bloomfield. All proceeds benefit those in need in our area.

A Dinner Theater Fundraiser will be held on December 13th at St. Peter's Episcopal Church, 44 Main St. Bloomfield. Enjoy an English pub style meal and then see Dickens' A Christmas Carol performed by Kim Tenreiro! Details in the poster below - please share! All proceeds benefit the Hands of Hope Kitchen.

The Hands of Hope Kitchen, Inc., has been granted 501(c)(3) status by the IRS! This important classification means that the program qualifies as a public charity, and operates as an independent entity. It also means that donations to the organization are fully tax deductible to the donor.

The Hands of Hope Kitchen celebrated its first anniversary on April 30th, and has grown substantially during this first year of operation, now serving meals to an average of eighty people.

Our mission is: “We believe that we are all one in community. We strive to meet the needs of others by providing a meal to those who come: with dignity, and without question, charge, or requirement.”

We who volunteer define need and hunger not only as lack of income or of food, but also by a need for acceptance and concern.

We're excited about achieving this goal and look forward to continued service to the community!
