We loved celebrating the last day of the school year with our fifth grade promotion and bell ringing ceremony!

As we close out the 2026-2027 school year, we want to recognize some special student accomplishments.

First, our fifth grade morning announcers: Abele, Bell, Candace, Charlie, Easton, Elly, Elliot, Eric, and Kimber did an outstanding job spreading Forbush news each and every morning!

Next, we want to recognize the following kiddos for having perfect attendance this year: Raelyn, Gwyneth, Riley, Grayson, Kimber, Raelynn, Reese, Winston, Gabriel, and Hudson.

Lastly, introducing our Principal’s List. These students achieved the accomplishment of earning straight A’s for the entire year. Way to go, Ezra, Lane, Remy, Raelyn, Olivia, Abele, Easton, and Kaden!

Our fourth graders spent time participating in various science activities and enjoying North Carolina’s nature at Stone Mountain State Park! Thank you DNCR’s Learning Happens Here Field Trip Fund for making this possible.

Our fifth graders enjoyed North Carolina’s beauty while sharpening their meteorology skills at Grandfather Mountain and Linville Caverns!

Thank you, Forbush Braves Ptf, for hosting movie night and the silent auction tonight. We loved seeing everyone come out to spend time and have fun together!

The Running Club wrapped up the season with a 2.5 mile race this afternoon. Congrats to all of our runners for conquering this challenge. We’re proud of all of you!
