It is with a heavy heart that we share the passing of Joan R. Garber, Elbert and Alice Hubbard’s last grandchild. Jo passed peacefully at the age of 97 in her home in Belfast, Maine.

She was born May 28, 1929, in Palo Alto, California, the youngest of six children of Miriam Hubbard Roelofs and Howard Dykema Roelofs. She was the granddaughter of the writers Elbert and Alice Moore Hubbard. She was raised in Glendale, Ohio and spent summers on the family farm in East Aurora, New York.

Book Club is back! Join us for the next 𝙍𝙤𝙮𝙘𝙧𝙤𝙛𝙩 𝘾𝙖𝙢𝙥𝙪𝙨 𝘽𝙤𝙤𝙠 𝘾𝙡𝙪𝙗 where we will discuss All the Colors of the Dark by Chris Whitaker on Wednesday, September 16th at 7pm in the Roycroft Power House.

We can't wait to share this brand new Holiday ornament with you! Last year we released our first Roycroft Campus collectable ornament, 'The Historic Print Shop,' and this year we're back with another treasured Roycroft Campus building, 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙃𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙞𝙘 𝘾𝙤𝙥𝙥𝙚𝙧 𝙎𝙝𝙤𝙥 𝙂𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙧𝙮.

Originally built in 1902, the gallery is home to over 100 local artists works and more. Over the past 100 years the Copper Shop has transformed quite a bit, one thing that hasn't changed is its significance in our community. Whether you are or know an artist who has sold their work here, you visit the gallery every year, you've even 𝘭𝘪𝘷𝘦𝘥 here; Preserve this special memory with a collectable ornament.
