Virginia workers are stronger and safer when they have the freedom to join a union and bargain collectively. This year we got closer than ever to getting a collective bargaining bill signed. But we all know how that turned out šŸ™„šŸ˜”(see previous posts about vetoes).

Imagine: teachers negotiating for smaller class sizes, emergency responders negotiating for better equipment, and nurses and home health care workers negotiating for fair wages and safer working conditions.

Early voting is just around the corner. Whether itā€™s a federal, statewide, or local seat, letā€™s elect candidates who support working families!

This morning, activists rallied at the State Corporation Committee in opposition to the proposed merger of Dominion and NextEra Energy, which just began implementing the biggest rate hike for working families in American history.

No Virginian should have to ration or skip meds to pay rent. The Affordable Medicine Act couldā€™ve helped, but it was vetoed... again. Virginians deserve better.

šŸ³ļøā€šŸŒˆ šŸ³ļøā€āš§ļø Virginia, look how far weā€™ve come. In 2006, the Commonwealth voted to ban sameā€‘sex marriage. In 2026, a strong majority of Virginians support marriage equality. Progress didnā€™t happen on its own, and now we have the chance to protect it for good.

Itā€™s time to remove the old ban from our constitution and safeguard marriage equality in Virginia.

Make sure you vote YES on or before November 3rd.
