April 9–15, 2023, is National Telecommunicators Week.

We want to take the time to honor those at Ottawa Central Dispatch who spend hours behind the mic serving our community! They are truly under appreciated and true heroes!

The men and women of Ottawa Central Dispatchers are the first voice you hear as you call 911. Everyone knows that the police, and even our second responders, the fire department miss holidays, birthdays, and special occasions but so do our dispatchers.

We appreciate all that you do. Thank you from the Earlville Police Department!

A huge thank you goes out to Mrs Smith’s First Grade class for their kindness. They have been working on a kindness project this month and graciously included us. The kids helps draw the card and tie up the goodies. Your kindness is greatly appreciated!

By now we have all been made well aware of the potential for a snow storm to arrive tomorrow, into Friday. I cannot brag enough about what an amazing Public Works department we have and the hard work that they put in to keep Earlville safe. Please be cognizant of the snow route parking restrictions so that they are able to clear the roads without us having to tow any vehicles. To that end, please do not park on the street if at all possible during snow storms, whether or not its a designated snow route.

Since he's been at college, the officers have remained involved, checking up on him. They have also raised enough money to put him through all four years.
