🚴 RAGBRAI Traffic Reminder 🚴

As we prepare to welcome thousands of RAGBRAI riders to Earling on Sunday, July 19, we’d like to remind everyone that the streets highlighted on the map below are the official RAGBRAI route through town.

Roads along the route will be closed to through traffic to help ensure the safety of riders, volunteers, and spectators. Please plan ahead, use alternate routes, and follow all barricades and directions from volunteers and law enforcement.

If you plan to park along the route, please have all vehicles removed by NOON on Saturday to allow volunteers time to safely prepare the route for Sunday’s event.

We will be holding a RAGBRAI planning meeting tomorrow at 5:30 PM at Troy’s Bar.

If you’re a vendor with questions or you’re interested in volunteering during RAGBRAI, we encourage you to attend.

🚰 Attention Earling Residents 🚰

We will begin flushing fire hydrants the next couple of days. During this time, you may notice temporary discoloration in your water. This is normal and should clear up after running your cold water for a few minutes.

We appreciate your patience as we complete this routine maintenance to keep our water system in good working order.

Ragbrai meeting tonight @ 5:30 in Troy’s Bar and Grill.

This is an informational/planning meeting for anyone who wants to help/volunteer to make this event a great success for our town and community.

Ragbrai will be coming through town on Sunday, July 19th. Riders will likely start arriving around 8:30/9am and close down around 4pm.

Please consider lending a hand to make it go smooth and efficient.

We’re looking for volunteers to help make this a great experience for everyone coming through town. If you’re willing to lend a hand, please reach out and let us know!

We’ll also be creating an official Earling RAGBRAI 2026 page, so keep your eyes open for updates and more details coming soon!

Let’s come together and show what Earling is all about. We’ve got a lot to be proud of, let’s make this a day to remember!
