Congratulations to Dr. Cissy Clark of Clark's Family Pharmacy in Earle on being recognized by the Arkansas Pharmacists Association as its Contributor Spotlight of the Week! With 30 years of service to patients, our community, and independent pharmacy in Arkansas, this recognition is well deserved.

We love seeing members of our Crittenden County community recognized fo the impact they continue to make in all of our lives!

We had such a sweet surprise today! Cissy had the incredible honor of being recognized by the Arkansas Pharmacists Association as its Contributor Spotlight of the Week.

For 30 years, it has been her privilege to serve our patients, our community, and independent pharmacy in Arkansas. She knows that this comes in large part from having an incredible team to work with and is so grateful for our wonderful Clark’s Family Pharmacy team and the patients who have trusted and supported us through the years. 💜

It started with a poem. It became a mission.

Sometimes, the smallest things can make the biggest difference.

After reading Joshua T. Dickerson’s poem, “Cause I Ain’t Got a Pencil,” I couldn’t stop thinking about what our community could do to help. That reflection became the inspiration for the Crittenden County Museum’s countywide Back-to-School Pencil Drive.

A heartfelt thank you to a wonderful couple from Crawfordsville, Arkansas, who believed in this mission from the very beginning. The moment they saw the first draft, they made the very first donation of $100. Your generosity has already helped move this effort forward, and I am truly grateful.

If just 65 people donate $20, we’ll be well on our way to providing pencils for approximately 9,334 students across Crittenden County.

Today was a success, as usual!

I want to give a huge shout-out to Mrs. Trekena Caldwell for her continued generosity to the Crittenden County Museum. Because of her donations, every child and adult who attends our events has been able to leave with a special token of love. Her kindness has truly made a lasting impact.

I also want to say thank you to my neighbor, Cathy Moore, and Ms. Brenda Johnson. I was completely worn out today, and somehow they knew it. They showed up with hearts ready to serve and jumped right in to help without hesitation. Thank you also to Mr. Jeremiah Price Sr. for grilling for us. And last but not least, my sweet assistant Kialynn Mitchell. Your help does not go unnoticed!

I am truly grateful for each of you. Your support, generosity, and willingness to serve help make every event a success. Thank you for being a blessing to our Museum and our communities in Crittenden County!

Come on out and spend some time with me this Saturday!

The forecast is calling for cloudy skies, a few showers, and possibly a thunderstorm. While we may not be able to enjoy our usual outdoor fun, that doesn't mean the fun has to stop!

We'll move the excitement indoors with activities, learning opportunities, and plenty of time to connect. There's always something fun to do, rain or shine!

Don't let the weather keep you away. I will still be here, and I'd love to see you!

On March 20, 2026, the son of Isadore Banks visited the museum and shared his family’s story with us.

Memories were shared, tears were shed, and history came alive once again. His story continues to be preserved and passed forward.

Not all history is sunshine and roses. Some chapters are painful, difficult, and uncomfortable to revisit. Yet it is through facing these hard truths that we gain a deeper understanding of where we have been and where we must go.

While acknowledging the past does not make it easier, it reminds us of the importance of continuing to press toward a higher calling. One of truth, justice, healing, and understanding.

History matters because every story matters.
