At 4:36 PM MDT Boise officially reached 80 degrees. This is the earliest date for 80 degrees in records dating back to 1875, and only the second time Boise has ever reached 80 in winter, the other time being March 19, 1997.

From Eagle Police:

Update @ 1:55pm: Southbound Eagle Rd. at Highway 44 will likely remain closed for about six more hours. If you’re planning your commute, please use an alternate route.

A dump truck struck the traffic signal, tearing the lights from the pole. No injuries reported. ACHD is on scene.

ORIGINAL POST:

Southbound Eagle Rd. at Highway 44 is closed due to a crash. Deputies are on scene directing traffic. Expect delays and consider using an alternate route. We will update when the lanes reopen.
