Sweet Doozer got to go on a little field trip today with one of our Animal Control Officers and head up to Red Cliff for their annual Community Unity Day!

This cutie was the star of the show and got lots of love from the folks of Red Cliff!

Doozer is the last puppy available for adoption from his litter, and we can’t understand how this adorable gentleman hasn’t found his forever family yet!

Meet Sweetums!

After raising 12 (yes, twelve!) happy, healthy puppies, this absolute queen has officially retired from motherhood and is ready to start her very own happily ever after.

Sweetums is a joyful, happy-go-lucky Terrier/Bully breed type-mix who believes every single person she meets is her new best friend. Her tail rarely stops wagging, and her favorite activity is spreading love. She loves to run and play and hopes to find a home where she can go on adventures and live life to the fullest. Sweetums would thrive with a playful canine brother or sister who can match her fun energy and join in on game-time.

She has spent her whole life taking care of everyone else, and now she’s looking for a family to shower her with the love, belly rubs, and pampering she so deeply deserves. This gorgeous gal is already spayed, microchipped, dewormed and up to date on her vaccines.

It’s another edition of Paramedics & Pets!

They say, “find a guy who looks at you like…”

Because there’s nothing like a lap full of puppies, as our paramedic Teddy found out. There are three members of the 12-puppy litter left at Eagle County Animal Shelter, just waiting for their forever home.

Ludo, Pepe the Prawn and Doozer–aptly named, as they’re all muppets–are all two (almost three) month old Terrier/Border Collie mixes that came all the way from Utah with their mama, Sweetums. These puppies are playful, social and super sweet, always up for a cuddle or a bit of exploring. These pups will need people who are ready to help them learn to be good dogs through consistent positive reinforcement, socialization, enrichment and plenty of patience (because, puppies). If these early days are any indication, these gorgeous puppies will grow up to be amazing companions!
