The Keweenaw County Courthouse will be closed on Friday, November 11th in observance of Veteran's Day. It will reopen on Monday, November 14th at 9:00 am.

The Keweenaw County Courthouse will be closed on Monday, February 21st in observance of President's Day. It will reopen Tuesday, the 22nd at 9:00 a.m.

January 22nd has been upgraded to Super Sled Dog Saturday! A combination of the Free Kid's Sled Dog Rides (12-2pm) and our Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser (1-5pm)! Two great events on the same day as we prepare for the CopperDog 150 returning to Calumet on March 4th! Please join us.

Richard Thomas started as the Keweenaw County Courthouse’s custodian in the 80's and was recommended by the county clerk to go for the open magistrate position.
