No one ever knows when their time will come, no one knows if it'll happen early in the morning or late at night. For the men and women who gave their lives for this country it is more than obvious that that particular thought had no bearing on their willingness to lay down their lives if need be. They fought for this country and more importantly for each other. THEY WILL ALWAYS BE HEROES. "GREATER LOVE HATH NO MAN THAN HE WHO IS WILLING TO LAY DOWN HIS LIFE FOR HIS FRIEND". On Behalf of the Maverick County Veterans Service Office we would like to wish all veterans and citizens a Memorial Day full of companionship, remembrance and solidarity!!!
