BRIDGE PROJECT UPDATE: ON SCHEDULE AND MOVING FORWARD!

🌉 BRIDGE PROJECT UPDATE: ON SCHEDULE AND MOVING FORWARD
Mayor Aaron Valdez, City Administration, and the Port of Eagle Pass met today with LJA Engineering, and representatives from the State of Coahuila to review progress on the Camino Real Bridge Expansion project and the Port of Entry Master Plan.
The project remains on schedule, with planning, environmental studies, and engineering work advancing on both sides of the border. Updates presented during the meeting included:

✅ Surveying and engineering
✅ Environmental review
✅ Port of Entry Master Plan
✅ Binational coordination

The current schedule targets construction bidding in July 2028 and opening in 2029.

🌉 ACTUALIZACIÓN DEL PROYECTO DEL PUENTE: EN TIEMPO Y AVANZANDO

El alcalde Aaron Valdez, la Administración Municipal y el Puerto de Eagle Pass se reunieron hoy con LJA Engineering y representantes del Estado de Coahuila para revisar los avances del proyecto de ampliación del Puente Camino Real y del Plan Maestro del Puerto de Entrada.

El proyecto continúa conforme al calendario previsto, con avances en planeación, estudios ambientales e ingeniería en ambos lados de la frontera. Durante la reunión se presentaron actualizaciones sobre:

✅ Topografía e ingeniería
✅ Evaluación ambiental
✅ Plan Maestro del Puerto de Entrada
✅ Coordinación binacional

El calendario actual contempla la licitación de la obra en julio de 2028 y la apertura en 2029.

Gracias a LJA y a nuestros colaboradores de Coahuila por continuar trabajando en infraestructura que sirva a nuestros viajeros, fortalezca el comercio internacional y apoye el futuro de nuestra región.
