☕🤝 Welcome Home to Texas Interns!
We had the pleasure of hosting a Welcome Breakfast for the University of Texas Home to Texas interns at the Riskind Building in Downtown Eagle Pass.
The event provided a great opportunity for interns to meet and connect with their employers, build professional relationships, and learn more about the organizations they will be working with throughout the summer. It was inspiring to see so many talented students return home and invest their skills and energy back into our community.
Thank you to The University of Texas at Austin, our participating employers, and all the interns who joined us. We look forward to seeing the impact you make in Eagle Pass this summer!

Today, we’re spotlighting Addy Mendoza, Assistant Economic Development Director, as we celebrate Economic Development Week!

As Assistant Economic Development Director, Addy supports city-wide economic development initiatives with a focus on business recruitment, corporate outreach, and expanding investment opportunities throughout the City of Eagle Pass. Her role includes attracting industrial, retail, and tourism-related businesses while overseeing the management of Foreign Trade Zone No. 96. She works closely with local businesses, developers, site selectors, and state, federal, and international partners to foster strategic relationships and promote sustainable economic growth for the community.
