Alan Kendall, one of our incredible special education teachers, was recognized by Alpine School District with an Accent on Excellence Award, and if you know Alan, this comes as no surprise.

He shows up every day with patience, humor, and a steady belief in his students. He finds ways to connect, builds confidence, and helps students see what they are capable of.

Our school is better because of him! Congratulations, Mr. Kendall!

Track season is officially underway, and Sage Canyon participated in our very first track meet last week. We are off to a great start--our students had strong finishes and showed lots of team spirit! 🏃🏃‍♀️

The District Jr High Art Show has begun at University Place Mall, and several of our students have ceramic pieces in the show! Our art teachers picked the best pieces from the semester, and the results speak for themselves.

Our Honors Band recently earned straight superior ratings at the state festival! Thank you to Mr. Carter for setting high expectations for excellence, and for making band fun. We are proud of these students and the high standard they've set for our school.

Everyone decked out in their college finest for College and Career Awareness day!

Our counselors recently organized an amazing college and career awareness day for students at Sage Canyon! They invited professionals from the community to talk about their careers, and students viewed presentations about all of the different options for further education after high school. They gave away prizes and everyone dressed in their favorite college gear. Students left with new ideas, clear goals, and a better sense of what their future can look like. Big thanks to our counselors and community partners for making it happen!
