High Fire Danger is predicted for portions of the area today and Monday due to gusty winds and continued, very dry conditions. Please use caution and avoid fire starts. A single spark can cause a wildfire. Obey fire restrictions and do your part!

06/21/2026

Severe storms are possible late this afternoon and evening across the southeast plains. Damaging wind gusts, quarter size hail, and localized heavy rainfall are all possible threats from these storms.

06/21/2026

At and above seasonal temperatures Sunday, with the potential for strong to severe storms across the plains and high fire danger over the higher terrain. Cooler and unsettled weather remains on tap across the Plains for the work week, with warm, dry and breezy conditions leading to continued fire danger across the higher terrain.

06/21/2026

Strong to severe storms are possible late Sunday afternoon and evening across the southeast plains, as moisture increases behind a passing cold front. Strong, damaging wind gusts, hail to the size of quarters and locally heavy rainfall will the main threats from these passing storms.

06/20/2026

Increasing winds can produce blowing dust creating loss of visibility. Be aware and careful driving.
