⚾ Dyersburg has been selected to host the Diamond Youth Baseball State Tournament for the 7-8U divisions July 2-5!

This is a tremendous opportunity for our community as 24 teams from districts across the state of Tennessee, along with coaches, families, and state officials, travel to Dyersburg for four days of baseball.
We want to make their experience one they’ll never forget, and we need the community’s help!

Because we appreciate all the support from our community we are excited that we have an event for us to extend and offer the opportunity to promote all the businesses that make up Dyer County!
Every player, coach, and state official will receive a welcome registration bag upon arrival. Local businesses are invited to provide coupons, promotional items, special offers, or information to be included in these bags. This is a great way to introduce visitors to your business and encourage them to shop, dine, and explore Dyersburg/Dyer County while they’re in town.

We also encourage businesses, churches, organizations, and residents with signs along major roadways to help us welcome our guests by displaying messages supporting the Diamond Youth State Tournament and the teams participating.

Hosting a state tournament is about more than baseball—it’s an opportunity to showcase our community, support local businesses, and demonstrate the hospitality that makes Dyersburg/Dyer County special. Let’s come together to create a memorable experience for every family that visits our city.

Community Parks & Recreation Master Plan Public Input Meeting
Your Voice Matters!
Dyer County is developing a Parks & Recreation Master Plan to guide future improvements, programs, trails, parks, and recreational opportunities throughout our community. We invite all residents, businesses, community organizations, and stakeholders to attend a public meeting and share ideas about the future of parks and recreation in Dyer County.
