The ShakeOut centers its message on practicing the Drop, Cover, and Hold On
technique as the best
overall way to protect yourself during an earthquake.

TEMA is encouraging businesses, schools, and organizations to register at
https://www.shakeout.org/centralus/register/ to indicate they will conduct
an earthquake exercise with their organization and practice *Drop, Cover,
and Hold On* at 10:17 a.m., on Oct. 17, 2019.

Great ShakeOut Earthquake Drills help people in homes, schools, and organizations worldwide improve preparedness and practice how to be safe during earthquakes. Register to participate in your state or country's drill at www.ShakeOut.org.
